LMETB Regional Skills & Training Centre

The service offered to us by the team at Millennium Machinery was first class from installation to commissioning. Their flexibility with installation dates relieved some of the pressure from us in setting up the new workshop. The installation itself including commissioning was carried out swiftly and expertly to a high class standard. Their service included the additional touch of consulting with us on room layouts to include the safest and most efficient use of space.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Millennium Machinery to other organisations.

The University of Limerick

The University of Limerick purchased Optimum Lathes, Milling Machines and Drilling Machines in 2001 to equip a new engineering workshop to cater for our expanding student numbers.

The workshop was to cater for 1st and 2nd year students undertaking a range of different courses. For many of the students it would be their first experience with engineering equipment. The University had never purchased Optimum equipment before so were apprehensive regarding the choice of manufacture.

Over the intervening years this workshop has been one of the busiest workshops in the University catering for up to 11 two hour scheduled labs per week and also being used by the technical staff for project and research work.

In this period the machines have proved to be very reliable, any issues that have arisen have been easily resolved by the University technical staff. Millennium Machninery have been very helpful and efficient in dispatching the small number of replacement spare parts that were required. In 2006 the University purchased further Optimum equipment and Millennium Machinery has been very successful and will hopefully continue into the future.
