The Carif 450 BA CNC is a heavy-duty automatic hydraulic bandsaw designed for continuous cutting of solid bars and demanding production applications.
Its extremely robust construction combines heavy cast components with a welded structural-steel saw arm, providing the rigidity required for consistent cutting under demanding workloads. A 4 kW blade motor with electronic inverter provides continuously variable blade speed from 15–100 m/min, allowing cutting parameters to be adapted to different materials and sections.
The machine features 2-axis numerical control, with storage for up to 100 cutting programs and clear visualisation of cutting parameters. Automatic memorisation of the saw-head starting position and cutting length, combined with hydraulic material feeding and powerful front and rear hydraulic vices, helps significantly reduce setup and adjustment times.
CARIF’s patented hydraulic control system provides smooth adjustment of bow feed and cutting pressure, while hardened jaws ensure secure clamping and reliable feeding of long solid bars. The saw supports single-side mitre cutting from 0° to +60°, with manual head rotation.
With a maximum rectangular cutting capacity of 450 × 240 mm, the Carif 450 BA CNC is designed for workshops and industrial production environments that require robust construction, automatic material handling and repeatable high-capacity cutting.
