The Carif 550 BSA VAR-E is a high-performance semi-automatic hydraulic bandsaw engineered for cutting large metal sections with exceptional accuracy and stability. Built on a massive steel base and a one-piece welded steel head, the machine provides outstanding rigidity, reduced vibration, and long-term durability in industrial environments.
Equipped with a heavy-duty gearbox and a 4 kW electronic speed variator, the VAR-E model offers stepless blade speed control from 15 to 100 m/min, allowing optimal cutting performance across different materials and profiles. Carif’s patented hydraulic system enables precise, independent regulation of bow feed and cutting pressure, guaranteeing smooth and consistent results.
The swing-arm console features an integrated display for controlling blade speed, cutting height, blade tension, and piece counting. A potentiometer allows memorizing the cutting height so the bow automatically returns to the preset start point. Additional sensors monitor blade rotation and blade tension to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Operator comfort and productivity are enhanced through features such as powered blade brush, hinged frame cover for quick blade change, eccentric roller for short piece cutting, wide support tables, a 50-litre coolant system, and a large chip container.
Supplied with an M42 bimetal blade (3820 × 34 × 1.1 mm), service tools, and documentation, the Carif 550 BSA VAR-E is ideal for workshops requiring high-capacity, precision mitre cutting with modern automation and control.
